Lately,

I've started
- drumming for the HKBU Church on Sunday's - a gig is a gig, right?
- I'll be teaching drums to a local student in a studio in Mong Kok
- to find my groove in HK by finding all the things I loved back home here

I'll be
- going to Boracay next Thursday*
- watching Arrested Development season 1

Last night was the first time
- I stayed in a Friday night since I've been here
- I watched Salt...the movie


*booking the ticket to Boracay had to be one of the most frustrating experiences thus far. After trying for multiple times for the Cebu Airlines page to load, reload, refresh, etc., I finally got onto the payment page. After pressing enter and hoping that the payment has been processed, I waited in vain as the page showed "error, please try again." That process repeated itself 15 times.
On my 16th try, a binder that was placed on the top compartment of our desk mysteriously fell and in perfect (almost pre-arranged) sequence, knocked over my open water bottle and spilled all over my friend's school supplies. After cleaning/drying the desk and supplies, I tried for the payment page, but was left again with the words, "error, please try again."
It was 9:45pm and I still hadn't dinner yet. I went back to my room only to find a lizard running across the walls of my four walled room. It hid behind my roommate's desk. I hope it never comes out.
