CVA @ HKBU

All my classes this semester are in this building.

I'm taking four classes which leaves me with only a 3 day school week and a 4 day weekend. wiccccccked.

Back at SFU, I was leaning more towards a Marketing/Advertising in Film speciality in Communications, but for some reason I chose mostly Digital Graphic Communication courses here at HKBU. I guess I should've known what DGC stood for before enlisting in those courses. Whatttttevs. My other two courses are Journalism and Communications Theory.

I feel as though I'm in a bit over my head in those DGC courses because I have to create posters and advertisements using PhotoShop, some-other-nerdy-program-that-I've-not-heard-of, etc, which I have had no(!) experience with. I met a guy in one of my DGC classes that's in the same boat as me. We were talking about how we were just going to use Microsoft Paint to create our posters. Good for him, bad for me - I'm on a Mac!

My professors seem to be all pretty decent people. One of them has taught in Canada, the other is an expatriate from England, and the last one is from Los Angeles. The LA prof, all we do is talk about Entourage and how he should've gone down the path of Ari Gold.

It's about this time that most exchange students say that their whole exchange experience zooms by them as school is slowly ordering their lives in a much more routine way. I'm waiting for that zoooooom.

Keep me posted on your lives!
