Since working with FOX, I've had a chance to act in two commercials where I help them to advertise their channels like FOX HD and FOX CRIME. Since then, acting has been a side hobby that I've grown to like and actually want to get better at. It's incredibly daunting - being the one person on set with a crew of 20 behind the camera and the director yelling directions at you while you're trying to look "natural." I remember the first scene I did in the FOX CRIME promo and the trepidation and awful anxiety that came with it. the scene was me simply handing a flask to my co-star - it was just that, me giving off something, but the amount of thought and planning that went into that transfer (the angles of the flask, where my hand was positioned, the pace at which I handed it, etc.) was all calculated so that that simple scene would look "authentic" to the viewer.
once i get my hands on a copy of these commercials, I'll link you to it if any of u want to see it.
